Melbourne Renegades Academy named for WBBL showcase games

The Melbourne Renegades have named a 12-player Academy for a series of WBBL practice matches to be played against the Stars Academy today and on Friday.

The teams will meet in two consecutive matches both today and on Friday, with start times of 9.45am and 1.30pm

Several players with WBBL experience feature in the squad, alongside some of Premier Cricket’s brightest talent.

Ella Hayward, Georgia Prestwidge and Ellie Falconer headline the players who currently remain on contract for WBBL|09, alongside returning superstar Jess Duffin.

2023 Renegades Recruit winner, Grace Jones, will also feature.

All matches will be live-streamed and live-scored, with details across Melbourne Renegades social channels.
