YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing and preparing players to thrive in international cricket across all formats.
  • Work with an identified group of fast bowlers with a view to optimising their development and workload in collaboration with their Regional Host.
  • Offering clear direction to the Women’s Cricket network on the development and preparation of elite fast bowlers .
  • Working as part of a highly motivated and skilled coaching team across the England Women, England Women’s A’ and EW U19s programmes.
  • Working closely with the Director, EW Cricket, Head of Performance Pathways and Player Insight Lead to establish an effective talent ID and selection process across all programmes for fast bowlers.
  • Co-manage world leading data gathering processes to ensure the England Women development programmes are insight informed
  • Developing the knowledge and skills across the Women’s game to improve the quality of coaches across England & Wales
  • Working alongside the other High Performance Coaches to individualise world leading support.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Achieved the ECB Advanced Coach (Level 3) qualification, with Specialist Coach (Level 4) qualification desirable (or international equivalent).
  • A proven track record of coaching elite teams and players.
  • A deep understanding of international and Women’s Cricke.
  • A contemporary expertise in areas associated to learning and development.
  • The ability to devise, deliver and manage coaching programmes for individuals, groups and teams.
  • Positively impacted the development of players working in collaboration with an MDT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of motivation and the resilience required to thrive in a varied and demanding high performance role.
  • Capability and appetite for extensive domestic and international travel.
