The Adelaide Strikers are very excited to be launching a documentary celebrating the WBBL|08 Championship winning season, presented by Major Partner, Tool Kit Depot.

‘Pretty Bloody Special’ will air on Fox Cricket at 6pm ACDT, on Thursday, October 19 and will be available on Kayo Sports after the screening.

Featuring interviews with the majority of the squad, including captain Tahlia McGrath and WBBL|08 Strikers MVP Megan Schutt and Head Coach Luke Williams, the 50-minute documentary goes behind the scenes of the Championship winning season.

Tool Kit Depot (TKD) is the Presenting Partner of the documentary, coinciding with the extension of their Major Partnership with the Adelaide Strikers WBBL and BBL teams for a further two years.

A great supporter of the Adelaide Strikers, along with presenting the documentary, TKD will be running fan activations throughout WBBL and BBL matches this season including a catch & win game and hammer relay team competition.

“We are proud to announce another two years of partnership with the Adelaide Strikers WBBL and BBL and look forwarding to building on the success we’ve had in our first year,” Tool Kit Depot Head of Operations, Remy Horsfall, said.

“We wish both teams luck for the season ahead and can’t wait to get fans involved in our activations.

“It is great to be part of the launch of the Strikers doco that gives the community an exciting insight into the incredible season they had last year and offers a chance for players and fans to reflect back on a fantastic Championship season.”

‘Pretty Bloody Special’ Director and Editor Matt Kelly said it was a special project to be part of for everyone involved.

“We created this documentary to take fans behind the scenes so they can see the hard work that went into the year, the strengths of the squad that made them Championship winners and to go inside the celebrations post win,” Kelly said.

“This is also a special keepsake for the players, support staff and their families and will serve as a reminder about how amazing the WBBL|08 season was.

“We hope everyone enjoys the insight and that they get to know the players better and understand just how ‘Pretty Bloody Special’ the Strikers WBBL|08 season was.”

‘Pretty Bloody Special’ will air on Thursday at 6pm ACDT on Fox Cricket – Channel 505.
