The Sydney Sixers are set to welcome a new member to the family this summer, today announcing Lite n’ Easy as the Official Nutrition Partner of the club for this season.
Rated the number one healthy meal delivery service by Canstar Blue in 2023 for a fourth straight year, Lite n’ Easy will fuel the Sixers this summer, supplying 2000 meals to the club’s WBBL and BBL players.
Making high quality meals convenient and accessible, the meal delivery service is perfectly suited to the needs of busy athletes.
Head of Sydney Sixers, Rachael Haynes welcomed Lite n’ Easy to the club.
“We’re pleased to partner with Lite n’ Easy as our Official Nutrition Partner for the season ahead.
“One of the biggest struggles that professional athletes face is time poorness. Often athletes are juggling training and playing with study, raising families and a host of other responsibilities so the ability to reduce meal preparation time throughout the season is a great help for our players.
“For our athletes to have meals that are both healthy and easily accessible – whether they’re at home or on the road – is terrific.”
Lite n’ Easy CEO, Nathan Hayman says the brand’s work with professional sportspeople and teams of all codes is all about helping athletes be their best.
“Lite n’ Easy are proud to support the Sydney Sixers in 2023/24 as their Official Nutrition Partner.”
“By delivering 2000 healthy and delicious meals to the club’s W/BBL squads, Lite n’ Easy is helping to remove some of the barriers of being a professional athlete by eliminating meal preparation time and putting their health and well-being first.”
Lite n’ Easy Senior Dietitian, Ashleigh Jones said the meal options are made with the highest quality ingredients.
“Lite n’ Easy can now deliver a range of meal solutions that provide a healthy foundation for a performance diet.
“Designed by dietitians and prepared by chefs, the meals not only taste great, but they also contain more than 30g of protein, a nutrient essential for muscle growth and recovery from training.
“The team continually goes above and beyond to ensure our meals are as delicious as they are healthy. Everything is made using the highest quality ingredients, and it’s all perfectly portioned and nutritionally balanced.”
Sixers members and fans will have the opportunity to sample Lite n’ Easy’s products at the Sixers home matches on Friday, November 10 at North Sydney Oval and Friday, January 12 at the SCG.
