Cricket South Africa (CSA) governs cricket in South Africa. Formed in 2002, it succeeded the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB) and became the sole governing body in 2008. CSA oversees all levels of cricket, including national teams for men and women, and is a full ICC member and SASCOC affiliate.

Sun Windmill paid a visit to Free State Cricket Union and donated cricket equipment to the Rocklands Hub from Bloemfontein.

Sun Windmill took the initiative to come into to the cricket fraternity and assist at grassroot level by issuing equipment to the Rocklands Hub which has a total of 102 players which includes both boys and girls of different age groups.

“On behalf of Free State Cricket, I would like to thank Sun Windmill for this amazing contribution towards cricket. We really appreciate your assistance in developing our cricketers at grassroot level, and we know that not only will they benefit but they will surely improve in the field of play.” Commented Mr. Xander Snyders, President of Free State Cricket.

“We hope this initiative will not only end with the Rocklands Hub but also be extended to other Hubs within the Province.” Concluded the Free State Cricket Union President.

“This is the first time as we get to participate at such a level where we as a stakeholder shake hands with Free State Cricket and take the opportunity to reach out to the community especially when it comes to the development of young cricketers.” Commented Sun Windmill General Manager Johan Oosthuizen.

“Thank you so much for the association. It has always been a privilege to deal with Free State Cricket Union, and we hope one day we will also be able to switch on our TV’s and see one or two players who have benefitted from this contribution play for the Proteas in the World Cup.” Added Johan.
