A host of current and former Sydney Sixers will again take part in The Chappell Foundation Sports Stars Sleepout this year to raise awareness and funds for youth homelessness.

On Monday 3 August, Alyssa Healy and her husband Mitch Starc, along with current Sixers Steve O’Keefe and Daniel Hughes, and club legends Lisa Sthalekar and Stuart MacGill, will be sleeping rough on the SCG, each sheltered by just cardboard.

A similar experience unfortunately shared by over 40,000 young people in Australia every night. Alyssa is a proud Chappell Foundation Ambassador.

Numerous other former and current Australian sporting stars will participate in the Sleepout on 3 August including champion swimmer Bronte Campbell OAM. She joins several fellow Olympians, cricket and rugby league greats, including founder Greg Chappell MBE.
