Cricket West Indies (CWI) governs cricket across the West Indies, a confederation of Caribbean countries. Originally established as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control in the 1920s, it became the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996 and was rebranded as Cricket West Indies in May 2017 as part of a restructuring effort.

After an exciting and highly successful North American tour, the ICC Men’s T20 Trophy made its first of two appearances in the Caribbean region, visiting Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Lucia.

Legends and cricket favourites of the day all made appearances including Joel Garner, Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Isaac Vivian Richards, Sir Richie Richardson, Sir Curtly Ambrose, Sir Andy Roberts, Carlos Braithwaite and Daren Sammy.

Thanks to the super fans, spectators, youthful cricket enthusiasts, cultural displays, and trophy photo ops, the first leg of the tour was a resounding success.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana complete the West Indies leg of the Trophy Tour in May.
