About the role

An exciting opportunity is available to lead the content creation and delivery of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) online media platforms.

The Content Producer will write and produce engaging content such as match reports, long-form stories, media releases, social posts and internal and external communications. This role will work across both the women’s and men’s programs and manage content in relation to the South Australian Cricket teams and the Adelaide Strikers.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

·       Manage and maintain all social media accounts for SACA.

·       Manage, update and curate the SACA and Adelaide Strikers websites.

·       Write engaging content for a variety of platforms, including social media, website and SACA publications.

·       Provide live match day online coverage of South Australian and Strikers teams (women’s and men’s programs).

About you

·       You will have demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, promotions, media and/or public relations, preferably in the sports media environment.

·       You will hold Tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or similar.

·       You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       You will have strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

·       You will have strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

·       It is desirable that you have photography, videography or video editing skills, although not essential.

·       You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one.

Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment, and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a State level.

The SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management. It also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the South Australian Men’s and Women’s teams and Adelaide Strikers Men’s and Women’s teams.
