India legend and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 ambassador Yuvraj Singh is set to embark on a day all sports fans would dream of, attending two of world sport’s biggest events occurring today in the United States.

Yuvraj will attend the highly-anticipated T20 World Cup clash between India and Pakistan at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, before travelling to Boston to attend Game 2 of the NBA Finals between Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks in Boston.

Yuvraj will co-ordinate a reunion between the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy and the NBA’s Larry O’Brien Trophy after they met in New York ahead of the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, with a video collaboration between ICC and NBA featuring India captain Rohit Sharma going viral and attracting more than 30M plays.

Fans can follow Yuvraj’s adventure from New York to Boston by following the @ICC, @T20WorldCup and @NBA social media channels.

The ICC and NBA content crossover comes following a surge in cricket headlines across the United States, following consecutive victories for the USA to start the T20 World Cup, including an upset win over 2022 Finalists Pakistan.

The co-hosts next face India on Wednesday 12 June in New York, before their final Group A game against Ireland at Broward County Cricket Stadium in Florida on Friday 14 June.

Fans can still experience World Cup action in the USA, with tickets available to matches in New York and Florida via tickets.t20worldcup.com

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Ambassador Yuvraj Singh said: “It’s hard to imagine a more epic day for a sports fan. The India v Pakistan encounter is the World Cup fixture everyone in those two countries wait for and want to be at and it’s become one of the world’s biggest sporting rivalries.

“It’s a privilege to be able to showcase the passion surrounding this event to the NBA’s audience, and, conversely, to introduce cricket fans to the incredible atmosphere of the NBA Finals, where global sports icons compete for the ultimate prize in basketball.”
