We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Competition Administrator to provide high level administration support to the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association (BHRDCA).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of all Play HQ Duties on behalf of BHRDCA (Association), including competition fixtures and registrations.
- Management of Association By-Laws and playing conditions on behalf of the Association.
- Oversee all required player transfers and permits requirements on behalf of the Association.
- Oversee the management and organisation of the Association competition awards.
- Lead club and competition development and planning on behalf of the Association (including the management of the Associations event calendar).
- Liaise and work with the Umpire Association, including the management of all reports and tribunal matters.
- Lead the delivery of the communication and marketing campaigns on behalf of the Association, including but limited to, official executive communication between the Association and member clubs.
- Manage and coordinate all SMS, email and phone enquiries on behalf of the Association.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Association website, including regular news and communication updates.
- Ongoing management of the Associations e-scoring and registration platforms.
- Ensure a mandatory registration process is implemented on behalf of the Association and member clubs.
- Ensure adherence with Cricket Victoria’s Child Safety Standards across the Association and member clubs.
- Oversee the management of Association Executive Board Meetings.
- Embed Australian Cricket Junior Pathway including Woolworths Cricket Blast and junior formats.
About You
You are an organised, self-motivated professional who has an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to draft routine correspondence and provide high quality customer service. You’ll further demonstrate an ability to delivery fully integrated solutions and make decisions to best meet all stakeholders’ priorities.
To be considered, you will meet the below criteria:
- A tertiary qualification in Sports Management i.e. Sports Graduate Diploma, etc.
- Experience in competition management and the ability to identify methods to analyse information efficiently, using innovative and creative solutions to problems is desired but not essential.
- Availability to represent Cricket Victoria at meetings and events outside of regular working hours.
- Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
- Current Victoria Driver’s License.
