Role Type: Hybrid • Permanent • Full-time • Mid-level Senior

Are you a seasoned sports leader and experienced project manager, with experience in live sport and delivering world-class tournaments &/or seasons? We’re looking for an Executive Producer / Project Manager to join our Sport team on a full time basis to manage the Cricket Australia International account.

This role is ideally based in Melbourne, but can be based in any location where KOJO has an office.

About the role.

This role is about WAY more than just developing a project plan and keeping it on track; it’s about seeing the 50,000ft view of our scope of work, and understanding ‘where we’re at’ at the 1ft view at any point in time. It’s about managing a complex network of stakeholders and partners, a broad and detailed scope of work and deliverables, keeping it all on time and on budget, whilst remembering the strategic objectives and never forgetting our ultimate goal: captivating the fans.

In summary, there are broadly four key areas this role is accountable for:

  • Client relationships, partners and account management
  • Financial Management and Project Governance
  • People/Crew management and resource planning
  • Service delivery planning and management

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, this role has oversight across:

  • Season based creative direction
  • Content development including player shoots
  • Screen and LED assets
  • Activations, identifying and managing entertainment and talent
  • Game day screen, audio, lighting and pyro assets
  • Match day production and crew (including contracting, logistics, travel and accommodation), technical production, commercial and broadcast integration, fan engagement platforms and post-series presentations

About you.

You’re a seasoned sports leader and experienced project manager, with experience in live sport and delivering world-class tournaments &/or seasons.

You LOVE cricket and deeply care about creating a world-class experience for cricket fans. You’re a ‘people person’ who’s (equally) passionate about creating a great environment for our crew to work within as you are about keeping the project on time, on budget, and on brief.

People love to work with you because you are caring, genuine, have a sense of humour and approach everything you do with a growth mindset.

You understand that working in sport is not a traditional 9-5, M-F gig, and you’re happy to attend shoots, match days and rehearsals at venues across Australia, which often fall outside traditional working hours and take you away from ‘home’ (you’re willing and able to travel interstate and internationally as required).

If you’re thinking ‘wow, high bar… looking for a unicorn’… well yep, we are!
