About the role
The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is looking for a Cricket Operations Specialist to be responsible for providing operational support and match day operations for Big Bash, Domestic and International cricket in South Australia. The Leader is required to manage relationships with key venue stakeholders and ensuring SACA’s interests are represented.
Please be aware that the Cricket Operations Specialist role is a casual role (2 days a week + match day) from 1st August 2024 – end of March 2025.
About you
· The ability to manage high workloads and meet deadlines within specific time frames
· A high attention to detail
· Sound computer skills particularly in word processing, data base and spread sheets
· Strong customer relations, stakeholder communication and networking skills
· The ability to demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking
· Superior organisational and planning skills
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to be effective under pressure
· Outstanding written and oral communication skills including
· The ability to delegate
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations and event administration
· A demonstrated knowledge of event management practice
You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or can obtain one.
It would also be great if you have…
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Event/Venue management and/or equivalent relevant experience
