The Role
Cricket Victoria is currently seeking to appoint a full time Graphic Designer to manage the graphic design portfolio and any external agencies in the execution of all design work for Cricket Victoria (CV), Melbourne Stars (MS) and Melbourne Renegades (MR).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conceptualise and produce all design work for MS, MR and CV, including but not limited to:
– Designing all print artwork, including large booklets and sponsorship proposals
– Designing eDM/website/social media artwork
– Designing artwork for use at events and matches
– Retouching/reworking of photography - Manage all CV brand marks (in conjunction with the Marketing & Communications Team) and update/maintain style guides where required
- Develop visual ideas and concepts for all CV brands, including MS and MR
- Work alongside the Production Manager to manage CV’s internal design brief process and project management workflow
- Managing CV, MS, MR assets across various filing platforms
- Brief and manage CV’s external design agencies and ensure output is of a consistent and high standard, with support from the Production Manager
About You
The successful candidate will have an advanced understanding of layout design, typography, colour, and imagery while maintaining a high attention to detail. They will have the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and managing multiple stakeholders, whilst prioritising projects and working in a culture of tight deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to showcase their design skills and abilities in a public facing organisation that receives plenty of media attention across the summer!
To be considered, you will meet the below criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design (or similar discipline)
- Demonstrated experience in an agency graphic design position, in-house role or freelance position
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
