ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Manage effective communications and public relations to media and broadcasters for the Sydney Thunder
  • Work with Sydney Thunder key stakeholders to drive awareness for the team, players, games, products and community initiatives
  • Strengthen brand and player connection through storytelling
  • Assist with creation and publication of content for both internal and external channels
  • Build relationships with key local and regional media on behalf of the Sydney Thunder
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Communications team to implement proactive media relations programs to appropriately position Sydney Thunder within the community

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in team media management or similar
  • Experience creating content in a similar environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to capture and edit basic digital media content
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
