ABOUT THE ROLE

As the result of an internal promotion, we have a need for a Cricket Operations Coordinator within our Events & Operations department. We’re looking for someone to deliver the CA Domestic Match Official Operations, to lead the delivery of our National Cricket Inclusion Championships and host International Series for CA’s disability teams. If you consider yourself to have strong planning and logistics skills (including travel logistics) and experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders at the same time as managing multiple projects, we want to hear from you. We have big ambitions for this space, so we’re looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.

Reporting to the Cricket Operations Manager, your responsible will include for:

– Managing all match officials’ travel logistics for domestic cricket and WBBL

– Leading all operational and delivery aspects of the National Cricket Inclusion Championships and host International Series for our National disability teams

– Managing the contracting process for championship volunteers and match officials

– Supporting the annual ordering and design process for match official apparel, as well as managing stock

– Leading and assisting with the planning and delivery of the domestic finals

– Providing assistance to the Cricket Operations Specialist for the planning and implementation of championships and team tours

– Where required, assist the National indoor and disability teams with travel logistics for overseas tours

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

– Tertiary qualification in Sports Management or a related field (preferred but not essential

– Excellent planning and logistics skills

– Experience understanding and managing budgets for large scale events

– Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and manage multiple projects and responsibilities at the same time

– Strong communication and presentation skills

– Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
