Job Title: Social Media and Content Lead – Somerset Women

Accountable to: Head of Digital

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Min 37.5 hours per week to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required

Salary: £22,500 – £23,000 per annum

Location: Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton

The Role

A brand new, exciting role has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club, as Tier One Women’s status brings an opportunity for a Social Media and Content lead to join the award-winning commercial team. This incredible opportunity will enable a talented and driven content creator to shape the digital journey of Somerset’s Tier One Women’s team from conception.

The role’s main purpose is to deliver innovative social media and digital content dedicated to the brand new fully professional Somerset Women Tier One team.

You will be at the forefront of telling the digital story from the start of a new era for Women’s cricket in the UK and lead this delivery through engaging social, web and video output that will inspire existing and new audiences.

Amongst other essential criteria, you’ll need to have experience in video filming, content creation for digital and social platforms – and excellent knowledge of social media trends. You will have strong communication and relationship building skills, and display high levels of creativity and idea generation.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated team-player and passionate about social media, showing an appetite to drive a new project forward from the beginning of the journey. You will have the ability to think outside of the box and a positive, determined, and structured approach to work.

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
