The broadcasters for the Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) have been confirmed. The tournament will be shown on leading broadcasters throughout the world and will be streamed on the CPL’s YouTube and Facebook pages in all locations outside the Caribbean.
The WCPL gets underway on 21 August and runs to the 29 August with all matches set to take place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. The tournament will feature some of the best cricketers from across the Caribbean and from around the world with the likes of Hayley Matthews, Deandra Dottin, Jemimah Rodrigues, Lauren Winfield-Hill, Chloe Tryon and Shikha Pandey part of the teams this year. Pete Russell, CPL’s CEO, said: “The standard of the WCPL has never been higher and we are really excited to be bringing this amazing tournament to broadcasters around the world as well as our fans outside the Caribbean on our YouTube and Facebook pages. We are looking forward to another highly competitive tournament that we are sure will keep fans around the world entertained.”
