The tournament began on August 18, 2024, at the Jimmy Powell Oval Cricket Stadium in George Town, Grand Cayman, and is organized by the Cayman Islands Cricket Association (CICA).
This fast-paced T10 league features five teams—New York Strikers, Caribbean Giants, Boca Raton Trailblazers, Grand Cayman Jaguars, and Miami Lions—and runs until August 25, 2024, with 25 matches packed into one week.
The Grand Cayman Jaguars, one of the most anticipated teams in the league, boast a star-studded roster that includes former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa, English batsman Alex Hales, Irish pacer Josh Little, and Nepal’s top cricketer, Dipendra Singh Airee. Uthappa, who has a strong fan base in India and Bangladesh, was pre-signed by the Jaguars and recently impressed with 225 runs in seven innings at the World Championship of Legends.
Alex Hales, another key player, has been in excellent form, scoring 204 runs in eight matches for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred. The Jaguars also feature Josh Little, a promising bowler from Ireland, and Dipendra Singh Airee, a cricket sensation from Nepal.
The squad also features Sikandar Raza, Ben Dunk, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jake Lintott, and Saif Zaib, alongside Ross Whiteley, Sajid Ahmedzai, and Logan van Beek. Additionally, Mark Watt, Ramoon Sealy, and Sam Foster complete the team.
