About the role

Reporting to the General Manager – Community Cricketthe Quality Experience and Retention Lead is responsible for providing leadership, strategic oversight and support to the cricket community to create quality experiences that increase the retention of junior cricket players.

This is a statewide role that can be based at any of our Cricket Tasmania offices across the state. The Quality Experience and Retention Lead will play an active role within our cricket community to enhance the quality of our junior cricket programs through the management of Cricket Tasmania’s Community Coach and Volunteer Education Programs. 

The Quality Experience and Retention Lead will seek feedback within the cricket community and use data to identify opportunities to improve retention in our cricket programs to support the achievement of Cricket Tasmania’s strategic priorities.

You will have:

  • Current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People with the class of registration of Employee/Volunteer or the willingness to acquire this registration.
  • Tertiary qualification or relevant equivalent experience in a sports management, teaching, or related field.
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Experience in implementing education programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement high level strategies.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to provide solutions to solve problems.
  • The ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience working as a part of a statewide leadership team.
