The Pakistan and South Africa women’s cricket teams will gear up for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 by competing in a three-match series at Multan Cricket Stadium.
South Africa will arrive in Multan on September 13, with matches scheduled for September 16, 18, and 20. The first two matches will start at 7:00 PM (PST), while the final match will begin at 10:00 AM (PST).
Following the series, South Africa will head to the UAE on September 21, with Pakistan departing on September 23. Pakistan is in Group A of the World Cup, alongside Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, while South Africa is in Group B with Bangladesh, England, Scotland, and the West Indies.
Pakistan will play warm-up matches against Scotland on September 28 and Bangladesh on September 30 before taking on Sri Lanka on October 3, India on October 6, Australia on October 11, and New Zealand on October 14.
The semi-finals are set for October 17 and 18, leading up to the crucial final on Sunday, October 20.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the World Cup squad, led by captain Fatima Sana and featuring key players like Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, and Muneeba Ali, will also compete in the series against South Africa.
The Pakistan women’s training camp, led by head coach Muhammad Wasim, will start on September 1 at Multan Cricket Stadium.
