FanCode acquires exclusive rights to broadcast Australia’s historic Scotland tour

Must Read

Australia will play their first-ever bilateral series against Scotland in a three-match T20I series in Edinburgh on September 4, 6, and 7 at The Grange, ahead of their ODI and T20I series against England.

This marks Australia’s first visit to Scotland since 2013. The series follows the men’s T20 World Cup, where Scotland nearly upset Australia in a close contest, showcasing their improvement.

Australia, captained by Mitchell Marsh, will field a strong squad, including debutant Jake Fraser-McGurk, known for his franchise cricket success. The team also features top players like Travis Head, Tim David, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa.

Scotland, led by Richie Berrington, includes key World Cup performers such as George Munsey, Brandon McMullen, and Chris Greaves.

Speaking about the series, Cricket Scotland CEO, Trudy Lindblade, said, “This is a historic tour for Scottish cricket and shows the huge progress the game has made during the last few years. FanCode has always been amongst our biggest supporters, and we are delighted to once again partner with them for broadcast in India. We are delighted to welcome Australia to Edinburgh and very much hope that this series paves the way for more regular tours of Test playing nations to Scotland.”

Fans can catch all the action on FanCode‘s mobile app, TV app (Android TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Samsung TV), OTT Play, Amazon Prime Video Channels, Airtel XStream, and on the web at www.fancode.com.
