Reports to: Strength and Conditioning Lead/Clinical Director
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Min 40 hours per week to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Salary: £37,500 – £43,500 per annum
Location: The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton & Other Venues

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club, to join our Sport Science and Medicine team. We are looking to recruit a Women’s Lead Strength and Conditioning coach.
You will work as part of the wider Sport Science and Medicine team to deliver a high-performance strength and conditioning programme to our senior women’s playing squad. You’ll be confident in planning, programming and delivering a first-class strength and conditioning service that maximises the physical performance of the professional senior squad. The role also focuses on the wider women’s strategy and delivery through the pathway, working closely with the Girls Pathway Strength and Conditioning Coach to maximise the physical capabilities of our pathway athletes, as they develop towards becoming professional cricketers.
Amongst other essential criteria, you’ll need to have a postgraduate qualification in Strength and Conditioning or equivalent and be UKSCA accredited or working towards. You’ll also have demonstrable experience delivering high performance strength and conditioning programmes in the professional sporting environment.

Given the nature of the role, any appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. If no ECB DBS is already in place, this check will be carried out by the Club.
Please note that working hours will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, along with domestic and international travel.
You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
