ECB: England Women Future Tours Programme confirmed for 2025-2029

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the national governing body for cricket in England and Wales, formed on January 1, 1997. It combines roles from the Test and County Cricket Board, National Cricket Association, and Cricket Council, and integrated the Women's Cricket Association in 1998. Based at Lord's Cricket Ground, the ECB oversees all levels of cricket, including national teams for men, women, and various disability categories.

The ICC has unveiled the 2025-2029 Future Tours Programme, which outlines the fixtures for the fourth edition of the ICC Women’s Championship.

The International Cricket Council have announced the Future Tours Programme for the period 2025-2029.

England Women will take on various opponents home and away to form part of the ICC Women’s Championship over the next few years, as well as other multi-format tours.

May 2025 – England v West Indies – 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

June 2025 – England v India – 3 ODIs, 5 T20s

September 2025 – England v New Zealand – 3 ODIs

October 2025 – ICC ODI Cricket World Cup – India

2026

May 2026 –  T20 Tri-series against India & New Zealand

June 2026 – ICC T20 Cricket World Cup – England

July 2026 – England v India – one off Test match

September 2026 – England v Ireland – 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

2027

February 2027 – Sri Lanka v England – 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

April 2027 – West Indies v England – 1 Test, 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

June 2027 – ICC Women’s Champions Trophy – Sri Lanka

July 2027 – England v Australia (Ashes) – 1 Test, 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

September 2027 – England v Bangladesh – 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

October 2027 – England v Pakistan – 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

2028

March 2028 – New Zealand v England – 3 ODIs, 5 T20s

June 2028 – England v South Africa – 1 Test, 3 ODIs, 5 T20s

July 2028 – LA 2028 Olympics

September 2028 – ICC T20 Cricket World Cup (location tbc)

December 2028 – India v England – 1 Test, 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

2029

February 2029 – Australia v England (Ashes) – 1 Test, 3 ODIs, 3 T20s

The new schedule also includes a window largely free of international cricket in August to coincide with The Hundred, as well as allocated windows for WBBL and WPL, and the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, where Women’s Cricket will debut.
