The Brisbane Heat has today welcomed leading Queensland home builder Plantation Homes into the club’s family on the eve of the BBL|14 season.

Plantation Homes has become an Official Brisbane Heat and Queensland Cricket partner, with their brand to be seen on the Heat’s playing and training pants this summer as the club seeks to go back-to-back in the KFC Big Bash League.

Plantation Homes will also receive major match-day coverage through Gabba LED signage and naming rights to the Plantation Homes Luxe Lounge – one of the ground’s most popular premium ticketed spaces.

The Plantation Homes partnership will go beyond the BBL season and have a focus on grassroots and community cricket as presenting partner of the Brisbane Heat coaching clinics, while creating community impact opportunities through initiatives including staff volunteering via the Queensland Cricket Foundation.

Plantation Homes has a vision to make home ownership affordable, with a reputation of building quality homes at the best value.

Part of the Henley Property Group and backed by its $7 billion parent, The Sumitomo Forestry Group, Plantation Homes is approaching its 16,000th home built for Queensland families focusing on outstanding customer experiences; and getting families into their new homes quickly, safely and with certainty.

Brisbane Heat CEO Terry Svenson welcomed Plantation Homes into the club’s corporate network.

“It is wonderful to have Plantation Homes join us as a partner this summer where we are proud to represent their brand, staff, and customers on out kit,” he said.

“It is clear we have aligned values of making a difference in our communities, and we know the Brisbane Heat and Queensland Cricket will be a positive partnership in growth, engagement and opportunities for our members and community.”

“Thank you to Queensland General Manager Alex Raleigh and the whole Plantation Homes team for your support ahead of what promises to be another big BBL season.”

Alex Raleigh said giving back to the local community was a driving force of the business.

“From the very early days, our directors have been committed to building a better future for our community,” he said.

“Their legacy continues today and we are thrilled to partner with the Brisbane Heat to support a team that truly brings the heat both on and off the field.

“Just like building a dream home, cricket is all about solid foundations, teamwork, community and of course hitting it out of the park when it matters most.

“We’re excited to be part of the Brisbane Heat family and look forward to a season of big innings and memory making moments,” he said.

The Heat kick off their season next week against the Melbourne Stars on Wednesday December 18 before the club’s Opening Night fixture at the Gabba on Sunday December 22 against the Adelaide Strikers, which is presented by Plantation Homes.

Tickets are available through Ticketek.
