PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to support the continued strategic development, implementation, delivery, and amplification of ECB National Youth Programmes (All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket).
You will have operational responsibility for the delivery of National Youth Programmes, ensuring alignment and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the broader Recreational Game Department, Sky (particularly), the wider County Board network and other ECB partners and teams including Digital and Marketing.

YOU’LL BE DOING
- Acting as operational lead for all National Youth Programmes within the ECB portfolio.
- Providing end to end project management, developing existing or launching new initiatives e.g. Dynamos Intros supercharged by Sky Sports or Dynamos Cricket for girls (in conjunction with the team responsible for inspiring and enabling Women’s & Girls’ Participation).
- Guiding ECB teams and the broader Cricket Board network and recreational cricket partners to implement and optimise National Youth Programmes to sustainably grow recreational cricket.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong, effective and collaborative relationships with National Youth Programmes leads and Cricket Board colleagues.
- Managing the National Youth Programmes bursary schemes to provide free playing opportunities through the Cricket Network and create fairer access to our sport, particularly in underserved communities.
- Leveraging ECB National Youth Programmes to achieve the ECB Recreational Cricket Action Plan’s priorities and ECB annual Plan on a Page, including connecting communities through participation, developing welcoming environments, tackling discrimination and transforming the game for girls.
- Working collaboratively across ECB, liaising with our broadcast partners, Sport England, Sport Wales and the county cricket network to deliver national plans that have significant impact within local cricket communities.
- Working directly with The Hundred Team to implement new initiatives linked to the competition, helping to deepen the relationship between playing and fandom.
- Mentoring a dynamic team, with one direct report to deliver the range of ECB National Youth Programmes.
- Operational budget management across the National Youth Programmes.
- Leading on all insight, monitoring, and evaluation pertaining to National Youth Programmes.
- Considering the opportunity afforded by the 2026 Women’s Cricket World Cup and contributing to the ongoing project planning process.
YOU’LL HAVE
- Strong leadership qualities and management experience, with the ability to co-ordinate teams together behind a common goal.
- Experience in implementing successful high-profile initiatives through exceptional project management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with experience in end-to-end project management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience and the ability to manage budgets across multiple project areas, and people in different locations.
