In the 8th match of Etisalat 4G Shpageeza Cricket League today, ACTU Speenghar Tigers beat Diva Group Bost Defenders by 5 runs. Diva Group Bost Defenders won the toss and decided to field first.

ACTU Speenghar Tigers’ batsmen Tamim Sorkhorodi made 79, emerging player Majeed Aalam unbeaten 52 and WaheedUllah Shafaq 18 to post a target of 176.

Diva Group Bost Defenders bowlers Hamza Hotak took two wickets while Mohammad Saleem took one. Chasing the target Karim Janat made 51, captain Gulbadin Naib 35 and ShafiqUllah Ghafari 20 falling short by just 5 runs. They managed to score 170 for the loss of 8 wickets.

ACTU Speenghar Tigers’ bowlers emerging Zahid Khan, AbdUllah Aadil and Zubaid Akbar took two wickets each while Aftab Aalam crucial one wicket of Karim Janat.

Tamim Sorkhorodi was awarded man of match and most sixes awards while stylish player award was given to Majeed Aalam. The next game will be between Ayubi Kabul Eagles and Ahmadzai Amo Sharks starting at 1330.
