A brilliant bowling performance from ACTU Speenghar Tigers’ captain Karim Sadiq and half-century by debutant Zubaid Akbari helped the Tigers start the tournament with a dominant victory against Naveed Ahmadzai Amo Sharks in the second match of Etisalat4G Shpageeza Cricket League.
A brilliant bowling performance from ACTU Speenghar Tigers’ captain Karim Sadiq and half-century by debutant Zubaid Akbari helped the Tigers start the tournament with a dominant victory against Naveed Ahmadzai Amo Sharks in the second match of Etisalat4G Shpageeza Cricket League.
Having won the toss, Tigers set a target of 151 for the Sharks as debutant batsman Akbari scored a well-played half-century off 35 deliveries while Nasir Khan Omar and Waheedullalh Shafaq scored 38 and 22 runs respectively. Young leg-spinner Abdul Wasi took two wickets for the Sharks while Yamin Ahmadzai, Nasratullah and Hayatullah took one each.
In response, The Sharks could manage 101 in the allotted 20 overs as Tigers’ skipper Karim Khan Sadiq took his first five-wicket haul in the tournament giving away only 15 runs in his 4 overs- a performance for which he earned the man of the match award.
The third match of the Etisalat4G Shpageeza Cricket League will be played between Bost Defenders and Ayobi Kabul Eagles.
