A brilliant half-century by senior batsman Noor Ali Zadran and terrific knock by young Sediq Atal ensured Ayobi Kabul Eagles secure their first victory of the Etisalat Shpageeza Cricket League beating Hazrat Ltd. Mis-e Ainak Knights by 4 wickets in the fourth match of the tournament.

A brilliant half-century by senior batsman Noor Ali Zadran and terrific knock by young Sediq Atal ensured Ayobi Kabul Eagles secure their first victory of the Etisalat Shpageeza Cricket League beating Hazrat Ltd. Mis-e Ainak Knights by 4 wickets in the fourth match of the tournament.

Earlier, Eagles’ skipper Rahmanullah Gurbaz won the toss and opted to field first. The Knights put 163/6 on board as Mohammad Shahzad and Najeeb Tarakai provided Knights with an explosive start scoring 22 and 32 runs respectively while Left-handed batsman Shahidullah Kamal top-scored with a half-century scoring 58 off 51 runs. Eagles’ spinner Zia Akbar took three wickets while Nangialay Kharoty took two. Pacer Nijat Masood was economical and took a wicket as well giving away only 17 runs.

In response, Kabul Eagles chased the target of 164 in 19 overs as senior batsman Noor Ali Zadran scored a great half-century while their skipper Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a knock of 21 at the opening. Young batsman Sediq Atal also played a tremendous innings as Ayobi Kabul Eagles were home losing 6 wickets in the process.

The 5th match of Etisalat 4G Shpageeza Cricket League will be played between DG Bost Defenders and DFI Band-e Amir Dragons today afternoon.
