The stadium will be built on 44,000 square meters of land in Maidan Wardak, the provincial capital, and will have seating for around 4,000 spectators, among other facilities.
The construction work of Maidan Wardak Cricket Stadium has been handed over to a construction company called Excellent Paragan after completion of the procurement process.
The task will be completed with the high quality in the given time. The first phase of the stadium includes seating for 4,000 spectators, leveling of the stadium and lawn mowing, pavilion and other related facilities.
