The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is the governing body for cricket in Afghanistan. It joined the ICC in 2001, became an associate member in 2013, and a full member in 2017. The ACB is also part of the Asian Cricket Council.

ACB Domestic department is set to conduct the Grade III Provincial Challenge Cup starting from 22nd January next week in Kandahar, Nangarhar and Khost provinces.

ACB Domestic department is set to conduct the Grade III Provincial Challenge Cup starting from 22nd January next week in Kandahar, Nangarhar and Khost provinces. 

According to department manager Ihsanullah Obaid, the tournament will include 20 provincial club teams categorized into five groups. As the tournament progresses, 2 leading teams from each group will qualify to the provincial grade II level where they will face Kandahar  Maidan Wardak, Helmand, Paktia, Balkh and Kunduz provincial teams. 

The tournament will conclude on 3rd of February.
