The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is the governing body for cricket in Afghanistan. It joined the ICC in 2001, became an associate member in 2013, and a full member in 2017. The ACB is also part of the Asian Cricket Council.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has officially partnered with Afghan United Bank, Etisalat Afghanistan Telecommunications Company, and Milat Steel for the upcoming Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup 2024.

Afghan United Bank has secured the title sponsorship rights for the tournament, while Etisalat Afghanistan has been granted the presenting sponsorship rights. Additionally, Milat Steel has been awarded the associate sponsorship rights for the event.

The sponsorship signing ceremony took place at the ACB headquarters this morning, with Chairman Mr. Mirwais Ashraf extending a warm welcome to the partners and recognizing their pivotal role in the success of the event.

National player Ibrahim Zadran also presented his playing shirt to ACB’s commercial partners as a gesture of appreciation for their financial support.

ACB CEO Mr. Naseeb Khan then proceeded with the formalities and signed agreements with all three partners. The event concluded with a commitment from all parties to continue working together and contribute to the growth and development of cricket in Afghanistan.

The inaugural edition of the Etisalat Presents, Afghan United Bank – Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup 2024 is set to commence this Wednesday, May 1, in Kabul.
