The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has started the reconstruction of the provincial cricket grounds in different provinces of the country as a result, the construction work of the Helmand cricket stadium has been completed.

The Helmand Cricket Stadium is designed and constructed on 20 acres of land by the Helmand Wall Construction Company with the financial support of the Ministry of Counter Narcotics and drugs at the total cost of 39 million Afghanis.
This stadium has a cricket training academy, a pavilion, and water well. In addition, it has two seating areas for the cricket team players, eight rooms, 10 bathrooms, and a kitchen.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has been working on the construction of the mentioned Cricket stadium and the building of pitches for the past two years. In addition to the construction of new pitches, this stadium is equipped with a leveling system and solar power energy.
With the completion of the above-mentioned work, the Helmand Cricket Stadium is fully prepared for the Cricket matches.
