The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is the governing body for cricket in Afghanistan. It joined the ICC in 2001, became an associate member in 2013, and a full member in 2017. The ACB is also part of the Asian Cricket Council.

To prepare well for the upcoming competitions, including series against Pakistan, a 15-day training camp started at Kabul Cricket Stadium. The camp will focus on strengthening all three aspects of the players.

The camp will be attended by 30 players, including 5 fast bowlers selected through the fast bowling hunt conducted by ACB. These bowlers will be part of the camp to strengthen their skills and gain valuable experience. 
National team captain Hashmatullah Shahidi called the camp important for his team’s preparation for the ODI Super League matches against Pakistan. He said that the players will be trained by experienced national coaches. Shahidi further added that the team will give their best to win the matches and boost Afghanistan’s chances of going up in the World Cup Super League ladder. 


It shall be noted that the selection of players for the mentioned camp was based on Fitness, discipline and past performance of players.
