257 of those deliveries were dot balls.

In BBL|07, Liam O’Connor played only one game for the Strikers. It just happened to be the Championship Final. He did not claim a wicket, but his six dot balls and low economy rate was a crucial cog in the Strikers victory.

Agar has played in Adelaide every year since BBL|06. Last season was his breakout however, playing 12 matches, more than the previous three seasons combined.

O’Connor achieved his highest games tally in BBL|08, taking the field on seven occasions.

BBL|09 was Conway’s Strikers debut, and he donned the blue five times.

Agar’s best bowling as a Striker is 4/33. The performance game amidst a remarkable victory against the Hurricanes in Launceston that saw a game total of 362 runs scored.

Agar bowled 11 dot balls in his spell and claimed the wickets of opener Caleb Jewell, number three Jake Doran, international veteran George Bailey and spinner Clive Rose.

O’Connor’s standout effort came against Brisbane Heat at Adelaide Oval. Claiming 3/30 in a game the Strikers won by 10 wickets, O’Connor was unstoppable. His victims that day were Chris Lynn, Jimmy Peirson and Ben Cutting.

International superstar AB de Villiers is another name in O’Connor’s scrapbook. The leggie snared the South African on January 14, 2020.

Harry Conway’s best figures of 2/32 also came in a winning cause for the Strikers. He sent Mitch Marsh and Cam Green to the sheds after opening the bowling against the Scorchers at Adelaide Oval.

The trio are currently in a race to be the first to register double figures with the bat in BBL cricket; Agar has the highest score of the three with eight.

To be fair, between them, they have faced just 30 balls and scored 24 runs, with five not-outs.

Agar actually has a strike-rate of 140, having scored 14 runs from his 10 balls faced.
