Our WBBL Stadium Series match is finally upon us and there is so much more than just great cricket matches with the four best teams in the competition to entertain you at Adelaide Oval on Friday night!

Plus, all attendees will go into the running to win ‘Surprise and Delight’ prizes throughout the match!

It’s a double header on Friday featuring all four likely WBBL|09 finalists and those that attend the opening match between the Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder will be picked out of the crowd to win one of two double passes to watch the second match between the Adelaide Strikers and the Perth Scorchers from the Adelaide Oval RoofClimb.

The climb will go from 7pm-9:45pm and the winners will need to meet the participation requirements which you can see here.

Other prizes on offer during the doubleheader include a Bat Flip Bat signed by Strikers captain Tahlia McGrath and Scorchers captain Sophie Devine and Strikers playing shirts signed by the entire WBBL|09 squad.

Weber will be cooking some delicious food for attendees throughout the matches! Try lamb cutlets, corn ribs, skewers, brownies and more for FREE, just visit their marquees at Bay 113.

Off the field, kids will love the Kids Zone, located behind the western stand at the grassed area near the Rod Marsh Memorial. There will be inflatables, activities and meet and greets with our mascots Summer and Smash as well as cultural education and art lessons for First Nations Round.

Look out for our Adelaide Strikers giveaways, including flags, scrunchies, giant heads and more!

Fans will be in for a treat with not one but two performances from Indigenous artist Becca Hatch, who can’t wait to be involved in the historic day.

“I am extremely proud and humbled to be invited on Kaurna Country at the Adelaide Oval for this monumental WBBL Stadium Series for First Nations Round,” Becca said.

“Being a part of this special match, celebrating our women, their contribution to the game of cricket and our rich culture is an honour.

“Performing at this iconic Oval for this game and event is going to be unforgettable and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Becca’s will perform before the Strikers v Scorchers match, as well as in the innings break.

All four teams involved in the doubleheader will be part of a Barefoot Circle as part of the First Nations Round celebrations, before the Strikers and the Scorchers play for the Faith Thomas Trophy.

As part of Women and Girls Week, junior female cricketers will do a lap of honour around Adelaide Oval between games and over 200 girls will participate in a pre-game clinic.

Free public transport will also be available to Members and ticket holders to the match, with regular Adelaide Metro bus, train and trams being free up to three hours before the first match.
