The Adelaide Strikers are an Australian professional Twenty20 cricket team based in Adelaide, South Australia, competing in the Big Bash League (BBL). Established in 2011, they succeeded the Southern Redbacks, who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The Strikers play their home games at the Adelaide Oval and wear a cornflower blue uniform.

A massive weekend of WBBL is in South Australia this weekend!

On Friday, we’re bringing the Village Green to Karen Rolton Oval with food trucks and more. We return to Nuriootpa for the first time since 2019 and have giveaways and kids activities for all the locals. Then on Monday, we celebrate First Nations Round at Karen Rolton Oval. Get tickets to all three games here. See below what will be at each game for you to enjoy!

Friday, November 11 | Karen Rolton Oval | 5:30pm | Strikers v Hurricanes

–       A mini Village Green with Pearla Tuck Shop serving bagels (including a dessert option) and WaffleStix serving waffles, milkshakes and coffees alongside the Park 25 Pantry

–       Acoustic artist Brian Ruiz

–       Erin Phillips, Alex Ross and Jarrod Walsh MCing

–       Exclusive Tahlia McGrath playing card giveaway

–       Kids Zone with inflatable cricket activities

–       Smash and Summer Strikers mascots will be there to say hello, as will the How Blue Are You dance crew

Sunday, November 13 | Centennial Park Oval, Nuriootpa | 2:30pm | Strikers v Thunder

–       Live bat making demonstration by Jack Konnis from JK Cricket

–       Kids activities including face painting, classic catches and inflatable cricket activities

–       Exclusive Darcie Brown playing card giveaway

–       Cancer Council SA activity station

–       Pre-match clinic with Strikers Girls Cricket League participants

–       Autograph/selfie opportunities with Strikers players post-match

–       Local cricket club BBQ

–       Smash and Summer Strikers mascots will be there to say hello, as will the How Blue Are You dance crew

Monday, November 14 | Karen Rolton Oval | First Nations Round | 5:30pm | Strikers v Heat

–       First Nations women’s contemporary dance group ‘Of Desert and Sea’ will perform prior to the first ball.

–       Live Welcome to Country and Barefoot Circle with Uncle Moogy and Isaac Hannam

–       Meez On Plus will be showing patrons how they cook with the Native plants and ingredients that will be used in the dishes on offer – Saltbush Lamb Tacos, Barra Burgers, Goolwa Pipis with Native Succulents and Bush Tomato Soup with Wattleseed Toasts. The Park 25 Pantry will also be available

–       Kookaburra Dreaming owner Katie Gribble will be holding a kids paining station for all ages to enjoy

–       Kids Zone with inflatable cricket activities, Smash and Summer and How Blue Are You dance crew

Karen Rolton Oval is hosting a WBBL match on Saturday too, between the Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes. The match begins at 5:30pm and tickets can be purchased here. Please note that the only gate that will be open for this match is the Port Road gate.
