The Adelaide Strikers are pleased to announce the re-signing of two of the Big Bash’s brightest stars, Smash & Summer.
The blue duo have been fundamental members of the club since its inception, playing a crucial role in the Strikers success over the years.
The decision to offer the pair long-term deals in Adelaide was a simple one, with Smash and Summer among the most in-demand mascots in the league.
Known on-field for their passion, excitement and exceptional dance moves, the duo are much loved by cricket fans across the country.
Signing on over a decade ago, the pair have witnessed of some of the biggest moments in Strikers history, including (but not limited to) Travis Head’s unforgettable NYE century, Amanda-Jade Wellington producing the greatest ever WBBL bowling figures, and the Strikers claiming the BBL|07 Championship.
Best friends since childhood, Smash and Summer have been playing cricket together for as long as either can recall.
Summer, a crafty leg-spinner, can often be found in the Adelaide Oval nets, practising her skills like Rashid Khan, while formidable top-order bat, Smash has committed his off-season to working alongside Strikers coaches, learning to crunch sixes like superstar Katie Mack.
The pair will remain in blue until 2030.
