Adelaide Strikers’ list continues to grow in strength ahead of Weber WBBL|07, with left-arm orthodox bowler Nell Bryson-Smith the latest addition to the squad.
A replacement player for Hobart Hurricanes last season, Bryson-Smith’s signature provides another angle of attack for the Strikers this summer as they look to return to the finals in 2021.
Currently serving hotel quarantine in Hobart, Bryson-Smith is patiently waiting to meet up with her new teammates and is thrilled at the opportunities that lay ahead.
“I’m very excited to be an Adelaide Striker. I can’t wait to get around the girls as I’ve only ever heard great things about the club!”
Strikers Head Coach Luke Williams is delighted to have Bryson-Smith on board ahead of the tournament.
“Nell will be a wonderful acquisition for our squad, both on and off the field. We identified a need within our list for a talented left-arm orthodox bowler and Nell fills that need perfectly.
We know she will bring plenty to our side throughout WBBL|07, and we couldn’t be more impressed with how she has undertaken the process of quarantining in preparation for the tournament.”
The Adelaide Strikers WBBL list is now near completion, with the final spots to be announced in the coming days.
