The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is the governing body for cricket in Afghanistan. It joined the ICC in 2001, became an associate member in 2013, and a full member in 2017. The ACB is also part of the Asian Cricket Council.

Afghanistan Cricket Board and Islamic Bank of Afghanistan signed an agreement today at ACB headquarters on the basis of which the latter was announced as the Title Sponsor for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland at Greater Noida Ground, India which will henceforth be titled as “Islamic Bank of Afghanistan Cup. “


Representatives from both sides called this a continuation of their mutual cooperation and expressed hope that it will continue in the future as well. 
ACB representatives expressed their gratitude to IBA for their enduring interest in Afghan cricket through sponsorship of the national team. IBA representatives reciprocated and expressed their thanks to ACB for providing them with the opportunity to secure the title sponsorship rights for the series. 
Afghanistan is scheduled to play three T20Is against Ireland on 6th, 8th and 10th March respectively at the Greater Noida Ground in India. The last time both sides played a T20I series, Afghanistan won the series 3-0 in March 2019 in Dehradun.
