Dear members of the KNCB,

The board of the KNCB hereby informs you that the following changes have taken place within the board.

On 5 November 2021, Mr Jacob-Jan Esmeijer indicated that he would resign as a board member of the KNCB as of that date.

Despite a tumultuous period, Jacob Jan was able to significantly improve the marketing and communication strategy of the KNCB, for which we would like to thank him very much. .

Mr Hans Mulder resigned from his board position on 9 November 2021.

In recent years Hans has worked hard within the board as a board manager for High Performance and as vice chairman. Hans has tackled many difficult files and, together with (former) board members, has worked to strengthen the KNCB not only sportively, but also financially and organisationally. Hans has previously served for a long time on the board of the KNCB under Steven van Hoogstraten and Rene Van Ierschot and has also been manager of the Dutch National Team (men’s) for many years.

We will miss Hans’ expertise, sharpness, direct approach and work ethic within the board. We thank him for his passion and unbridled commitment to Dutch cricket.

On behalf of the board of the KNCB,

Robert Vermeulen

Secretary KNCB board
