Sydney Thunder have joined forces with the GIANTS to create a special W Derby membership.
With both teams proudly representing Western Sydney and working closely together over their history, this unique membership offers provides a chance for members and fans to support two pioneering teams.
Along with all the benefits of being a GIANTS and Thunder member, the membership will provide members access to both the AFLW Sydney Derby as the GIANTS take on their cross-town rivals, the Swans, as well as access to the WBBL Sydney Smash when the Thunder take on the Sixers.
The highly anticipated third AFLW Sydney Derby will take place on Sunday, September 22 at 3:05pm at Henson Park in Marrickville, while the WBBL Sydney Smash will take place on November 17 at 5:25pm at Drummoyne Oval.

GIANTS CEO David Matthews says he is excited about the first step in a partnership between the clubs.
“We’re proud to partner with the Thunder to not only to provide our members and fans with incredible benefits, but to work alongside an organisation with shared values and commitment to progressing the elite women’s game in both codes,” Matthews said.
“This is just the beginning of the partnership, with many more collaborative projects in the pipeline.”
Sydney Thunder General Manger, Trent Copeland, echoed Mr Matthews’ sentiment.

The Sydney Thunder is an Australian professional cricket team competing in the Big Bash League (BBL). Based at Sydney Showground Stadium, the Thunder, along with the Sydney Sixers, succeeded the New South Wales Blues from the defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.
