The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for cricket in Bangladesh. It joined the ICC in 1977 and became a full member in 2000. The BCB oversees Bangladesh's men's, women's, and under-19 national teams.

All-rounder Afif Hossain thanking Tigers ex batting coach Neil McKenzie for his useful inputs during the lockdown period where it was tough for the players to maintain the right mindset. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) arranged various online class for the players during the lockdown period. Afif took inputs from the ex batting coach and worked on it before joining the individual practice session.

“All kind of play was was stopped, so as a player it was difficult for us to cope up with. But finally we will have matches which is a good thing. I hope to to do well in the upcoming matches and right now i’m working in the practice keeping it in mind.

‘I got so much time during the lockdown period to work on my batting. Ta talked to our ecx batting coach Neil McKenzie in the online classes and worked with technique. I’m still trying them. I’m hopeful to better after completing my work on these techniques.’

BCB started the individual practice session for the players in the last month. Afif has joined the practice earlier this month. ‘The whole lockdown period was tough for me. Our coaching staff, trainers gave us instructions about what to do at home when there was no play. Apart from that the online classes was helpful for the boost up for us. And now feeling really good to be back at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium to participate in the practice. I can do the necessary batting and bowling sessions here so i’m hopeful it will help me in the future.”
