The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for cricket in Bangladesh. It joined the ICC in 1977 and became a full member in 2000. The BCB oversees Bangladesh's men's, women's, and under-19 national teams.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is deeply saddened at the passing away of eminent cultural personality Aly Zaker who breathed his last in Dhaka today (27 November 2020).

A Freedom Fighter, Aly Zaker, will also be remembered for his association with Bangladesh cricket. He played club cricket in the 60s and appeared as a cricket commentator for radio and TV in the 70s and 80s.

The Board extends profound sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family of Aly Zaker.
