Amir Ahmed Chowdhury Ratan, Freedom Fighter, eminent sports organiser and educationist of Mymensingh passed away on Thursday (15 Oct. 2020) evening in Dhaka. He was 79 at the time of his passing.

A former councillor of the BCB, Amir Ahmed Chowdhury was the Rector and Principal of Mukul Niketon High School of Mymensingh which became a famous breeding ground for cricket players in the 90s and was a leading side in school and age-group cricket.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) extends deepest condolences to the family of the Late Amir Ahmed Chowdhury and prays for the salvation of his soul.
