The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expresses deep sadness at the passing of cricket organiser Mohammad Abid Hossain. A member of Brothers Union Club, former Member Secretary of Cricket Committee of Dhaka metropolis (CCDM) and a member of the local organising committee of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Abid Hossain breathed his last in Dhaka today at the age of 59.

The BCB extends heartfelt condolences to the family of the Late Mohammad Abid Hossain.
