The Bangladesh Cricket Board expresses deep sadness at the passing away of Salam Sarker, father of National Women’s Team cricketer Sharmin Akter Supta. Salam Sarker breathed his last at the Rangpur Medical College Hospital today (Friday, 04 September 2020) following a cardiac arrest. He was 50 at the time of his passing.

The BCB extends sympathies and condolences to Sharmin Akter and her family.
