The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is deeply saddened at the passing away of cricketer Shohidul Islam Nirob Khan.

The 32-year-old player succumbed to his injuries on Friday evening following a road traffic accident in Dhaka earlier in the day. Shohidul, a left-arm-spinner, had appeared for Agrani Bank Cricket Club in the Dhaka First Division Cricket League during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.  

The Board extends condolences and sympathies to the family Shohidul.
