The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for cricket in Bangladesh. It joined the ICC in 1977 and became a full member in 2000. The BCB oversees Bangladesh's men's, women's, and under-19 national teams.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Ian Durrant as the Lead Physical Performance Coach – Bangladesh Women. He joins on an initial two-year contract. 

Durrant has extensive work experience with the England Women’s Cricket Team with which he had over a decade’s involvement as ECB’s Lead Womens Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Durrant has already arrived in Bangladesh and was looking ahead to his new assignment:  “I’m really excited to be joining the Bangladesh Women’s Team. I’m looking forward to the new challenge and can’t wait to meet everyone. 

“The Women’s Team have a big year ahead and I can’t wait to get started.”
