The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for cricket in Bangladesh. It joined the ICC in 1977 and became a full member in 2000. The BCB oversees Bangladesh's men's, women's, and under-19 national teams.

In observance of the National Mourning Day 2021 which marks the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has organised distribution of food at orphanages and madrassas tomorrow (Sunday, 15 August). Food will be handed over to the poor and needy at the BCB National Cricket Academy Ground as well at 12h30 in the presence of BCB President Nazmul Hassan, MP.

Recitation from the Holy Quran and special prayers have also been arranged at the BCB Office.
