The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for cricket in Bangladesh. It joined the ICC in 1977 and became a full member in 2000. The BCB oversees Bangladesh's men's, women's, and under-19 national teams.

Batsman Shamim Hossain has been added to the Bangladesh squad for Friday’s second ODI of the Modhumoti Bank Limited series at the SBNCS, Mirpur.

The 22-year old left-hander, who has featured in 10 T20 internationals for Bangladesh, is yet to make his ODI debut.

England lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first game by three wickets.
